With over 2,000 employees in Denmark, G4S is a household name for monitoring and guard services. The company installs, services and responds to alarms throughout the country and has built an unmatched quality of service. The Danish market demands require sophisticated operations supporting, guard response, video, GPS, radio and many communications technologies. The monitoring centers provide services to 110,000 customer sites.

As the leading central station within the Northwestern European Region in G4S, Denmark was instrumental in working with SGS to define the corporate monitoring goals. The implementation under way is building a solid foundation for monitoring and the important integration with other G4S systems for dispatch and SAP integrated business management.

The primary operating location is in Copenhagen with the dispatch unit in Aarhus. Systems will be redundant and operators may work at both locations. Language translation is underway with user created “meta-data” allowing multiple languages to be used simultaneously. The project roll out is expected to take 6 months.
